In shaping surfboard gluing pieces of foam together is very common. I used a lot of glues for this purpose and just one type that I think it best glue for foam board and you will know in this article.

This glue work very well I really like it. strength of the connection more than the natural hardness of the foam.
It mean, If you try to break the connection then the foam will be break but the connection still good.
Beside that the it is very pleasant smell.

So, What type the gorilla glue that I used?
Ok, there are a lot of kind of gorilla glue. but I used the Original Gorilla Glue Type. This type is liquid, but after hardening it expands like a foam, very firm.

How to use this glue?
It is easy to using. This is way that I do with this.
The first clear the surface of foam.
Next, Squeeze glue on 1 surface, only one surface. Use the stick to spread the glue evenly. Just add some water on the remaining surface, you can use the tiny nozzle with ideas making wet this face.
Next stick two surface together and you need some weight to apply on it and leave overnight. after you can using this block form to shape the board that without fear of anything happening to the connection.
Can you use this glue for stick foam and wood stringer?
Yes, absolutely! You can totally use it.
However it’s a little waste because for this task you can use another glues it will cheaper Gorilla but the quality is excellent because it’s used for gluing wood. I will write another article about this glue.
How to store Original Gorilla Glue?
You can put it on refrigerator compartment. it will be more durable. Don’t keep it in hot place. It will dry quickly.
